Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Cirque du Soleil
After working in several arenas throughout the United States as part of Comcast-Spectacor/Global-Spectrum, Lou D'Angeli returned to the world of wrestling working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE.) At WWE he served as the Director of Promotions and Event Marketing where he oversaw all national pay-per-view and tune-in media campaigns and experiential events.
Currently living in Las Vegas with his wife and two daughters, D'Angeli is the Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the wildly successful and unique Cirque du Soleil. D'Angeli has been at Cirque since leaving WWE in August of 2010 and focuses his efforts on the seven shows in Las Vegas and one in Orlando.
Chief Technology Officer, Midco
In 2007, Jon Pederson was named to his current role, in which he oversees construction, engineering and network services – including all core technical systems and infrastructure. Pederson designed and implemented Midco's Internet service and digital phone product, and established the network operations center. He was also responsible for creating the first cable modem system in the Upper Midwest. He holds an associate's degree in computer programming from Southeast Technical Institute and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Augustana College. Pederson is an ardent supporter of the Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History, and serves on that organization's board.
Christy Wright Barnett
AVP of Mid-Market Sales, Sizmek
In her 16 year career Christy has had experience in the four corners of digital advertising: brand side, digital agency, public relations and now with technology. She joined the Sizmek team in 2009 and has merged her experience with client services with technology to start the Sizmek Mid-Market team, which is a national team of sellers that service Sizmek's mid-tiered clients. Prior to Sizmek, Christy served as the VP of digital for Fleishman-Hillard and started her career on the brand management team at Click Here (The Richards Group Digital Agency), and Agency.com. Christy’s thesis on service bundling was accepted for presentation at the NRF Conference in 2002 and has a number of publications on consumer perceptions in online service environments.

In his current role as Vice President of Marketing & Customer Engagement at Summit Group Software, Eric focuses on growing and advocating the company brand externally while developing and implementing internal programs and events that inspire employee engagement and promote corporate values.
Additionally, Eric serves as a steward of the Fargo/Moorhead area as a campaign cabinet member for United Way of Cass Clay and sits on the MSUM Paseka School of Business Advisory Council. Prior to his role at Summit Group Software, Eric held positions at Flint Group, Microsoft and Silverpop (an IBM Company). He attended graduate school at North Dakota State University, pursuing a Master Degree in Organizational Communication, and is a distinguished graduate of Dale Carnegie. Perhaps a less known accolade, Eric took first place in the 2008 Fargo Star singing contest with a roof-raising rendition of Usher's hit song "Yeah!".
Talent Acquisition Director, Discovery Benefits
Kurtis Karn started with Discovery Benefits in 2012 as a Recruiter and is currently the Talent Acquisition Director for the company. He is certified from HRCI as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and from SHRM as a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) for the Human Resources industry. He serves on the North Dakota SHRM Council as the College Relations Director (four years) and has previously served on the Fargo Moorhead Human Resources Association board in the same role (three years). Kurtis has been a part of helping Discovery Benefits share its corporate culture with the community and loves talking corporate culture whenever he gets a chance.
Kimberly Wold Janke

Kimberly is a communication strategist with Flint Group and has worked in the marketing and advertising industry for more than 20 years. In addition to client work, Kimberly has done speaking engagements on topics such as Communications Planning, Branding, Strategic Planning, Learning Styles and Leadership Training. She loves to stimulate her mind and learn new things by attending varied seminars and conferences each year.

Andy’s leadership goes beyond his role with Flint Group, sharing his time and talents in service on multiple nonprofit boards and coaching youth hockey. Julie Peterson Klein

As EVP | Chief Culture Officer, Julie Peterson Klein is responsible for leading the mission of Happy Employees! Happy Customers! She inspires passion in Bell team members to live the company’s values of promoting a family atmosphere, providing unequaled personal service, and paying it forward by giving back to the community. Julie has 25 years of banking and management experience, the past 17 with Bell, where she leads the company culture and the human resources teams for the company's 1,000 team members. Julie was instrumental in implementing Bell's Pay It Forward program, which has given over $8 million to date. She encourages employee mentorship, serves as liaison between employees and managers, and ensures team members are recognized for employment anniversaries, personal milestones and outstanding customer service. Erin Johanning manages marketing and internal communications at Midco, a regional provider of internet and networking, cable TV, phone, home automation and advertising services. Her key focus areas include leading public relations, and content and social media strategy. Johanning previously served as marketing services director at Fiserv, a Fortune 500 financial software firm – and she worked in TV news in Minneapolis, San Francisco and Sioux Falls. She is an active volunteer in women’s leadership programs, and youth STEM, Cub Scouts and sports activities.

With an extensive background in marketing, retail management, e-commerce operations and channel integration, Jimm Holland is known as an innovative and pragmatic strategist, marketer and brand builder. In his current role, he is focused on the evolving consumer mindset and the impact of demographic shifts on the role of traditional marketing strategies in a world of digital assets, brand activation, customer experience and community engagement.
He spent the last 13 years client side – mostly in retail. During that time, he had executive responsibility for the growth and development of heritage brand portfolios in the agriculture, petroleum and outdoor adventure industries. As VP Marketing and Digital Strategy for one of Canada’s largest retailers dedicated to hunting, fishing and camping, he was responsible for corporate strategy, business planning, marketing, brand and customer experience and channel integration, as well as e-commerce strategy and operations.
Early in his career, he honed his skills at several of western Canada's top advertising and marketing communications agencies where he gained extensive practical experience in brand development, strategy, portfolio management and other methods for establishing, enhancing and protecting the value of brand assets.
In 2015 he received his MBA (Finance) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
From this combination of roles and experience has emerged an expertise for helping organizations bridge the gap between what they want to do, what they realistically can do and what customers actually expect them to do.

Dean Froslie guides Bell Bank’s digital marketing strategies and ensures the company’s content is useful and relevant. He specializes in audience research, strategy development, user experience, key messaging and structured content models. He has two decades of experience in agency and corporate settings. Hardy graduated from Mayville State University with a degree in Business Administration and has more than 18 years of marketing and technology experience.
